Well this is interesting: Spotify launched a self-service ad studio through Asia!

I guess this means businesses can now advertise themselves across listeners on the platform - so far through music.

Unsure about the podcasting side though but seeing as how Spotify's Adtech is extensive maybe it'll bleed over. We'll see.

One thing to note here is that now that it's self-service, there will probs be a lesser % of that ad money going to a podcaster getting ads if streamed to Spotify since they are the ones managing it (I actually don't know if we do get any money from ads on Spotify?)
